System reduction-based approximate reanalysis method for statically indeterminate structures with high-rank modification

Efficient structural reanalysis for high-rank modification plays an important role in engineering computations which require repeated evaluations of responses, such as optimization and probabilistic analysis. To improve the efficiency computations, a novel approximate static method based on system reduction iterative solution is proposed statically indeterminate structures with modification. In this approach, structure divided into basis additional components. Subsequently, equilibrium equations are rewritten equation stiffness matrix pseudo forces derived from elements. With introduction spectral decomposition, reduced element elements unknowns established. The solutions modified can then be obtained by solving through pre-conditioned algorithm. computational costs compared those two other methods, numerical examples including nonlinear analysis presented. results demonstrate that has excellent performance both homogeneous material composed functionally graded beams. Furthermore, superiority suggests combination technology effective approach to develop high-performance methods.
